On Tuesday every child at school had the opportunity to make and eat their own pancake. Key Stage 1 undertook a data-handling exercise to work out the favourite toppings. Key Stage 2 began their topic on The Easter Story. KS1 Photos can be seen below and work from KS2 will follow shortly in a subsequent post.
The children in KS1 were delighted to welcome cats, dogs, chickens and ducks into their classroom for their pet day.
Thank you to all parents who supported this day.
All pupils and staff dressed up as their favourite book characters today and took part in a variety of activities including re-telling stories with actions and discussing their favourite books with talking partners. Pierce and Beth won the fancy dress prizes. Don’t forget to check you child’s book bag for their £1 Work Book Day Voucher.
Photos! Better late than never.
