The Pupil Council would like to thank everyone who took part in our Sport Relief activities on Friday 23rd March. We have currently raised an amazing £458.52. Here are the pictures of some of our activities.
Cross Country Results
Congratulations to all our runners for their hard work and achievement in the recent cross country events. Our runners performed very well gaining 1st, 4th, 5th and 8th places at the recent events at Stratford Park. A very extra special well done to Hester who came 4th in the County Championships on Saturday.
Sport Relief – an amazing success.
So far we have raised a magnificent £458.52 for Sport Relief; this is well over the target that we set ourselves of £200. The event was enjoyed by all and we were very proud of all our pupils who not only completed at least one mile around the village but took part in a full range of sporting activities during the day.
Thank to you all families and parents who supported the event – and a special well done to Beth Ordway who took a complete soaking. Continue reading 'Newsletter 6 – Friday 30th March 2012'»

The annual Oakridge School Easter Egg competition will take place on Friday 30th March. On that morning all pupils are invited to bring in a “decorated” hard-boiled egg. School staff are always amazed by the creations that arrive at school. In the past we have seen dinosaurs, spiders, football teams and even “The X factor”.

The Oakridge School Association would like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who came along to our Race Night fundraiser on 3 February. We hope you all had an enjoyable evening and maybe went away with a few extra bob in your pockets?! It was a very successful event, raising over £450 for the school, which will be put towards an end of year drama production. Thanks for your support!

Dear Parents
We would like you to be aware that we have had a couple of cases of slapped cheek disease in school. As it is infectious before the rash appears it is possible that other children may suffer with this. Continue reading 'Slapped Cheek Disease'»
