“Mr Winder is a legend!”
We provide a wide variety of part and fully-funded extra curricular activities throughout the school year. Examples of some of the activities offered include singing lessons, music lessons, German club, Bikeability cycling training, swimming lessons and cross-country running (in which Oakridge pupils have achieved great success).
We also include regular field trips to support the school curriculum including excursions to museums and local cultural events. Recent outings have been to the Cheltenham Literature Festival, Nature in Art Gallery and Museum, Berkeley Castle and the Birmingham German Christmas Market.
To further enhance the childrens' Personal, Social & Health Education (PSHE), every summer term Key Stage 2 pupils attend a three-day residential trip.
We are increasingly using the management partnership we have with Bisley Blue Coat School to enhance opportunities for pupils from both schools. This extends to extra curricular activities, most recently the provision of joint football training for pupils from Oakridge and Bisley.
Pupils also have access to a local, Ofsted-registered after-school club.
